Noah's Fourth Birthday he wanted a a star wars party. He choose everything to what we were going to eat to how to decorate the house. The kids all dressed up in Jedi outfits that I made and were given light sabers (the safe kind). The rain cooperated with us great that day and we were able to go outside for a little while. We had the bubble machine out and the kids with their light sabers had to get the bubbles before they touched the ground. We also played pin the light saber on the Jedi and a Darth Vader pinata. He was so stocked and had so much fun with his little friends.

I went to Noah's school and brought cupcakes for the class. He wore his new star wars shirt and he loves the birthday hat.

Hikes

We went to Grassvalley and they have this pretty covered bridge. Then we went on a hike and all this wildflowers were out. It was a perfect sunny day.

We went to the Gold mine and this was the summer house of the owners of the mine.

One day I went for my run and I locked myself out of the house so here is some pics of us waiting to get back into the house.

Easter at Noah's School

The whole school of Noah's school which is 4 classes went running for eggs. They had hundreds of eggs on the hillside. Each child had to wear a special hat and bring a basket and they got to meet the Easter Bunny and pet live chicks. It was a really cute event.

One weekend we went to visit my Dad and Marilyn. The next morning we woke up warly and took bart into the city and went to the farmers market and cruised around downtown. The kids loved the train ride.

After the Christmas the whole McNaughton Family went to tahoe and went skiing for a week. Kids were in lessons and the adults had a great time skiing together.
